LESBOY
The complete guide, by a trigender lesboy

DEFINITION
Lesboy or boy lesbian (boysbian) is an identity for an individual who in some way identifies as a boy/man that feels queer attraction for women, AKA lesbian. It can include:
• a butch lesbian comfortable with the label "boy"
• a non-binary butch who feels comfortable being called a boy and feels queer for women.
• a multigender individual or an individual who otherwise identifies as male and female simultaneously (girlboy) and feels attraction to women.
• an individual who is genderfluid and identifies as a lesbian, even when they are male.
• an individual under the genderflux umbrella, such as boyflux, who feels always queer for women but their male gender fluctuates in intensity.• a masculine enby or a GNC male (demiboy, libramasculine, paraboy, semiboy, semiboy...)
• anyone else who is in some way a boy/man and feels their attraction to women is gay/queer.
HISTORY lesboys & male lesbians have been a documented part of the lesbian community for decades, especially lesboys who are cuspers between transgender men and butch lesbians. Many historic he/him and butch lesbians would likely be described as lesboys in the modern day. For example, historic butch lesbian Leslie Feinberg wrote of the fine line between transmasculinity and lesbianism on multiple occasions.Stormé DeLarverie, the Black butch lesbian whose scuffle with police started the Stonewall Rebellion in 1969, was a butch he/him lesbian and drag king who also performed as a man for portions of his life, and who was referred to and identified as a "gentleman" at multiple points. As such, he may be considered a lesbian man.ps. i garantee you that if you went to Stormé and told him that "lesboys don't exist" he would've spit in your eye /lh
FAQ
"Why can't you just say you're straight?" Because straight isn't part of the LGBT community while, as you can find in many definitions of lesboy, this term is used by genderqueer people 99% of the time. This sentence is sometimes followed by: "I hate it when cishet boys say they're lesboys" making me assume that many people think lesboy is a mockery term used by cishet teenager boys to make fun of lesbians. I assure you that the term lesboy and the word "lesbian boy" those boys call themselvs have no connection to each other, and those boys probably have no idea what a lesboy actually is. LGBT was born to include any form of queerness, and since terms like gai and strayt exist, since people's identities are not easy things (at least always) and can be put in boxes easily , they might come off as controversial to you. It's about queerness , it's about being non-binary. Sexualities such as lesboy and turigirl are what we define to be non-binary sexualities, as they're used by people who are non-binary somehow.
"Lesbian means non-men loving non-men! Wrong. Lesbian means queer attraction towards women, and using that definition (or even worse "Women Loving Women) is inclusive only of binary women, women-aligned individuals and non-binary individuals. Lesbian and gay have a long history of being always used as "Queer attraction to the same sex or gender", then people started limiting/simplifying the label with "Men Loving Men" and "Women Loving Women". Let's take for example a bigender person who feels queer attraction to women and who's a male and non-binary. The label lesbian would result as contradictory for them as it means "women-loving-women". But also "nonmen-loving-nonmen" wouldn't be much better: some people might feel comfortable anyways, but others might feel invalidated, as being bigender (male and non-binary in this examples) doesn't make the person a "non-man". Plus calling them "straight" can't be an option for the reason I explained already. Also , that definition it's also not to be used as it implies that lesbians must "LOVE" women. What about lesbians that are aromantic or arospec? what about lesbians who are aroace / aroacespec and feel other types of attraction for women? This is why the definition "Queer Attraction For Women" includes everyone and everything, and it is much preferred.
"How can a demi-boy be a lesbian if they're demi BOY?" Demiboy is seen as being part boy, but this is not correct. The label "demi boy" and "demi girl" faced the same fate as lesbian and gay. If the original meaning was "a non-binary individual who feels a connection to masculinty and/or presents boyhood in a non-binary way" (and this is proven by libramasculine, it's agender counterpart, which means presenting boyhood in an agender way) , it turned into "feeling part boy" . But, even if demiboy was used as "feeling part boy", it would still work as a lesbian. Why? Because the rest part of the person's gender is something else different from boy, non-binary. The actual label for identifying as part-boy is semiboy, which means feeling from 1 to 49% boy. Even this label works out with lesbian as it's Gender Non Comforming / GNC and the restant part of the person's gender could be female-aligned. There are other labels too, for example hemiboy (50% boy, other 50% whatever other gender) and paraboy (59 to 99% boy).
"But if one is a demiboy/multigender and a man in some way, they can't love women!! it's straight anyways!!" If all I said about the term non-men loving non-men wasn't enough , let me add something then. Gender is far more complex than "woman" , "man" , "non-binary". There are people who are genderqueer and their gender could also be male/man in some way. If you're multigender yourself, you'll truly understand this better that I can ever explain it.
